In September, the Office of the High Commissioner of Diaspora Affairs will debut the Young Ambassador of Diaspora program for the first time.
“This is the first time we will be conducting this program. We completed the selection process; now we’re waiting for the launch,” High Commissioner of Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan said at a press conference.
The objective of the program is to help young Armenians in the Diaspora who are involved in strengthening Armenia-Diaspora ties and working to improve community life and protection of Armenian interests, as well as to build a dynamic network of Armenian youth that will include more people from various Diaspora-Armenian communities from all around the world.
The program will include lectures, working hours, meetings, and participants can visit important landmarks in Armenia, educational and scientific institutions, as well as public and cultural events.
